IHIT seeks info on woman's death

Homicide investigators are appealing to witnesses on the first anniversary of the death of a Mission woman. The body of Codi Carlyle Rogers, 40, was found in Cascade Falls Regional Park, northeast of Mission, on Feb. 1, 2022. The death was considered suspicious and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) was called in to investigate. At the time, police said they don't believe Rogers was killed in the park. Investigators released a photo of Rogers in an effort to identify witnesses who may have seen her in the days leading up to the discovery of her body. On Wednesday, IHIT revealed Rogers was last seen on foot leaving her home near Grand Street and 6th Avenue in Mission at around 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 31, 2022. Her body was found the next morning about 22 kilometres away at the regional park. Anyone with new information is asked to call 1-877-5514448.
