HAVE A VERY MARY HOLIDAY HANG

Fresh off her win for best cookbook of the year at the Taste Canada Awards, Mary Berg, shown, is set to unveil a festive special. Holiday Hang, an episode of her series Mary Makes It Easy, will air Dec. 13 on CTV Life Channel.

In it, Berg shares recipes that are ideal for a gathering of friends.

“Get the party started with a platter of baked Camembert, cranberry jam, and spiced nuts,” says a press release. “Then, assuming everyone already got their turkey fix, delight pals with Mary's guaranteed-to-satisfy peppercorn beef.”

For side dishes, Berg serves up buttery mashed potatoes and sautéed greens, with onion gravy as a saucy touch.

Berg's award-winning second cookbook, Well Seasoned, is available through major retailers including Indigo and Amazon.ca. New episodes of Mary Makes It Easy air Tuesdays.
