Ringo Starr cancels gigs

Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band have cancelled a number of shows and put the rest of their tour on hold after Starr was diagnosed with COVID on Monday. “Ringo hopes to resume as soon as possible and is recovering at home,” a statement from a rep said. Starr, 82, pulled out of two U.S. shows over the weekend. Shows Oct. 8 in Abbotsford and Oct. 9 in Penticton are also cancelled.
