THE IT LIST

The product: Vogue Paris: 100 Years, edited by Sylvie Lécallier Why we love it: Vogue Paris launched on June 15, 1920, making it the oldest French magazine still in publication today. Since the beginning, it has been a point of discovery for fashion design and culture.

“Throughout its history, the magazine has acutely observed changes in society and translated readers' aspirations by challenging how the body and beauty are represented,” Anne Hidalgo, the mayor of Paris wrote in the forward of the new book, Vogue Paris: 100 Years (Abrams, May 2022).

The recently released fashion tome explores the history of the stylish publication through the perspective of various Vogue editors. “Through timeless photographs and drawings this stunning book highlights how Vogue Paris has played a major and singular role in the diffusion of Parisian style,” according to a news release from the publisher. It's a stylish read for the spring-summer seasons.
